Guinness Exploration issued an operational update on the company’s mining project in Canada. The company is exploring for gold and silver mineralization on its acreage here.
Guinness Exploration is actively exploring for gold and silver at the Charlotte Project, located in the Yukon Territory in Canada. The company has been conducting an assay test utilizing trenches cut into several zones at the site, including the the Huestis, Webber, Cabin, Orloff-King, GRW and Dickson zones.
Guinness Exploration reported that the results of the assay tests at the Huestis and Webber zones indicated an extension of the known mineralization at these sites. The company also reported new mineralization found at the Cabin, Orloff-King and GRW zones.
Guinness Exploration reported that gold was found in a range from 1.43 to 7.05 grams per ton at the various trench sites. Silver was found in a range from 4.03 to 40.3 grams per ton.
Guinness Exploration said that 554 samples were obtained at the property and the trenching activity was 2,243 meters in length from 20 separate trenches. The company also reported previous successful testing programs at the Charlotte Project earlier in 2010.
