The June 2010 rig performance and utilization report was up slightly from May 2010, when the company had an average of 155 rigs operating in the United States and no rigs operating in Canada.
Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. is a contract land drilling company that owns and operates approximately 350 rigs in North America. The company’s fleet operates mostly in the Rocky Mountain, Mid Continent and Gulf Coast areas.
