TeamStaff, Inc., a national provider of healthcare, logistics and administrative staffing services, announced earlier today that its travel nurse and allied healthcare staffing division, TeamStaff Rx, Inc., has entered into an agreement with one of the nation’s largest healthcare services networks devoted exclusively to cancer treatment and research. Under the terms of the agreement, TeamStaff Rx will join a select number of companies to provide temporary healthcare professionals.
TeamStaff’s President and CEO, Rick Filippelli, commented, “This provides TeamStaff Rx with an enormous opportunity as well as a competitive advantage in growing our business and in taking a large step forward in being recognized as a leading provider of oncology staffing services to facilities throughout the country.”
The stock closed at $2.30, up 15%, on 6,558 traded shares today. With a 52-week range of $1.03 - $3.30, the stock’s average daily volume is 1,900 traded shares.
