Annual builds of new power plants are expected to fall significantly after 2012 and will reside below 7 gigawatts per year until 2025 as stated by the Energy Information Administration. Growth of consumption is expected to bypass completely the growth of capacity, which will result in the need to anticipate this need and to accommodate the demand.
