The Grow Pods offer a self-contained, indoor “micro-farm” environment that also features unique and innovative automated systems, meaning the Grow Pods can be placed virtually anywhere. With their controlled and specially filtered environment, they allow the cultivation of a wide variety of crops closer to the point of consumption all year round. Moreover, “Indoor micro-farms, utilizing a practice known as vertical farming, have attracted the attention of governments and universities, which are now promoting vertical farming as a way to combat food insecurity and inequities.”
