Thresher Industries, Inc.’s (THRR.PK) Advantageous Nautilus Core System

Thresher Industries’ Nautilus Core System is a unique method of producing cores for use in aluminum and magnesium casting. The cores can be removed with very little effort via high pressure steam or water, is biodegradable and can be located in areas not viable for sand or foam core. Ongoing development of this process is anticipated to result in greater customer satisfaction and the ability to bring this technology to a price sensitive market place.

The core can withstand virtually any die cast process pressures and temperatures of up to 1380 degrees F. Having the appearance of a high quality ceramic, the core can be created with any surface finish desired and is dimensionally stable. The material used is environmentally friendly and can be easily reclaimed. Thresher Industries offers to either produce the cores and ship them to a customer’s facility or sign a licensing agreement and provide the necessary support equipment and staff to implement core production in their facility.

Thresher Industries’ Nautilus core system has been successfully used in products for Chevrolet, Chrysler, and Ford, and has proven its ability to meet the demands the golf industry in production of one piece driver heads using ThermaLite material. According to the company’s website, patents are currently being developed for both the process and equipment to produce them.
