Friday, TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) announced that it was awarded an order from the United States Army worth $5.3 million to start and up to $9.3 million to provide spare parts for satellite terminals. TeleCommunication Systems is a leader in mobile communication technology.
This award was made under the Army’s $5 billion World-Wide Satellite Systems (WWSS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle in support of the Project Manager for the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (PM WIN-T). Customers may place orders through August 2011, to be delivered before August 2012.
