Tuffnell Ltd. announced that the test drilling of core samples at its properties in Arizona have been completed. The company drilled twelve holes comprising approximately 4,000 feet of samples.
Tuffnell Ltd. said that the test samples would be shipped for analysis to ALS Chemex, an independent laboratory located in Reno, Nevada. Tuffnell Ltd. plans to wait for results of the analysis before the company initiates planning of phase two of its development.
Tuffnell Ltd. said that the core samples were taken from the company’s properties at Little Butte in northwestern Arizona. The company’s claims here comprise 1,560 acres.
Tuffnell Ltd. said that the Little Butte Gold property is located in the Walker Lane Trend. This trend has produced more than fifty million ounces of gold and four hundred million ounces of silver since its discovery. The company has an option on a total of 78 unpatented and patented mining claims in the area.
The Little Butte Gold property is in La Paz County, in the Plomosa district, just south of Quartzsite, Arizona. Tuffnell Ltd. estimates that the company’s properties here may contain potential resources of up to one million ounces of gold.
