Burst.com (BRST.PK) Announces Name Change and New Ticker Symbol on OTCBB

Yesterday, Burst.com announced that they changed their corporate name to Democrasoft, Inc. They also announced that effective with the commencement of trading today (April 27, 2010) their stock will now trade on the NASDAQ OTC Bulletin Board. The Company, with their new name, will now trade under the symbol “DEMO.”

Richard Lang, the Company’s co-founder, Chairman and CEO said, “Our new name, Democrasoft, marries the concepts of democracy and software, which is what our new products are all about. For the past year, they have been creating and testing Collaborize™. This is an easy-to-start, user-friendly communications and decision-making tool. With Collaborize™, users don’t require any special software or hardware and can be working with the tool in less than five minutes.

The Company announced the launch of Collaborize on March 22, 2010. It is an online service. Collaborize™ is a tool for organizing groups into decision-making communities. Its design is to empower businesses, non-profits, organizations, governments, their members and citizens to resolve real problems and move toward implementation of collective solutions. They made the public announcement of Collaborize™ at the DEMO Spring 2010 Conference. Produced by the IDG Enterprise events group, the global DEMO conferences focus on emerging technologies and new products innovations, hand selected from across the spectrum of the technology marketplace.

Democrasoft, Inc.’s name change is part of their strategic redirection. They previously created software and a portfolio of intellectual property facilitating multi-media transmission over the electronic networks. Democrasoft, Inc. has their headquarters in Santa Rosa, California.
