EV Innovations, Inc., a development stage technology company that is focusing its resources and efforts on the development and marketing of lithium-powered vehicles and products, as well as on commercial and residential properties, recently announced that the company has signed a letter of intent to begin manufacturing in Rutherford County, North Carolina.
According to the letter of intent, EV Innovations utilize approximately $13 million in concessions and credits to construct a 145,000-square foot manufacturing facility with the option of developing a 400,000-square foot manufacturing facility for future expansion. The company will also collaborate with Isothermal Community College to develop a world-class training program for the repair and manufacturing of electric vehicles.
“EV Innovations, Inc. intends to hire 250 people over the next two years,” stated Holly Armstrong. “We are very pleased to be working with Rutherford County and developing high-paying jobs as we begin the mass production of the LiV Wise and the Wave 2 for government and consumer use.”
